About

Rather than defining myself through my work, I focus on a state in which

different aspects coexist. Smoothness and roughness, revelation and concealment

are not separated, but exist together within a single flow, becoming a means

through which these differences are made visible. In the process of forming

shapes and working with surfaces, unintended qualities naturally emerge,

expanding the range of perception.

This work goes beyond mere expression, leading to an experience of

encountering myself in a new way. It is an attempt to reveal the self not as a

fixed image, but as a state that continuously shifts and overlaps.

나는 작업을 통해 나를 정의하기보다, 서로 다른 면들이 함께 존재하는 상태에

주목한다. 매끄러움과 거침, 드러남과 감춰짐은 분리되지 않은 채 하나의 흐름

안에서 공존하며, 이러한 차이를 구체적으로 드러내는 계기가 된다. 형태를

만들고 표면을 다루는 과정 속에서 의도와는 다른 성질들이 자연스럽게

드러나고, 인식의 범위를 확장시킨다.

이 작업은 단순한 표현을 넘어, 내가 스스로를 새롭게 마주하게 하는 경험으로

이어진다. 고정된 하나의 모습이 아닌, 변화하고 겹쳐지는 상태로서의 나를

드러내려는 시도이다.
