Connection

A goblet formed where different shapes meet and merge into a single existence —

exploring the boundaries between separation and union, tension and harmony.The

faceted surface of the base is left exposed, allowing traces of the making process to

remain as part of the form itself, becoming a mediator tha t bridges surface and

structure.Colored glazes in multiple hues bring the texture into sharper relief, letting

the viewer sense the flowing con tinuity between form and surface.This work captures

the subtle balance and relational tension of the momen t when different things meet,

and within that moment, visualizes the meaning of “connection.”

탐색한다.

서로 다른 형태가 맞닿아 하나의 존재를 이루는 고블렛은 분리와 결합 긴장과 조화의 경계를 밑면의 면치기 표면이 드러나며 제작 과정에서의 흔적이 형태의 일부로 남아 표면과 구조를 잇는 매개가 된다 여러 색의 색유는 질감을 더욱 선명하게 드러내어 형태와 표면이 이어지는 흐름을 느낄 수 있게 한다.

이 작품은 서로 다른 것들이 만나는 순간의 미묘한 균형과 관계의 긴장을 포착하며 그 안에서 연결 의 의미를 시각화한다.

Mojahap

The covered box, or mojahap, was traditionally used for sto rage, ritual, and everyday

purposes, wi th practicality held in high regard its aesthetic defined by a calm, —

quiet restraint that ensures decoration never in terferes with function.The neat form,

subdued tones, and measured ornamen tation of the traditional mojahap held both

utility and a serene beau ty in careful balance.Where traces of tradi tional craft meet

a contemporary sensibility, a sense of harmony emerges through form and texture.

모자합은 대게 보관 의례 생활용기 등으로 쓰여 실용성을 중시하였으며 장식이 기능을 방해하지 않도록 차분하고 고요한 미감이 특징이다.

전통적 모자합이 지녔던 단정한 형태와 차분한 색감 절제된 장식은 실용성과 고요한 미감을 함께 담았다 전통적 제작 방식의 흔적과 현대적 감각이 맞닿아 형태와 질감 속에서 조화를 느낄 수 있다.
