KIM Taeyeon

The artist finds the same and repetitive things boring. Even in the midst of repetitive daily life, we feel energized when our eyes are drawn to small changes, and we can find happiness in that. The artist combines the same shape of cups with different handles that are improvised. Through these changing cups, the artist hopes to convey liveliness and energy to the viewer.

작가는 똑같고 반복적인 것을 지루해한다. 반복적인 일상 속에서도 우리는 작은 변화에 시선이 닿을 때 활력을 느끼고, 그로 인해 행복을 찾을 수 있지 않을까. 작가는 같은 형태의 컵에 즉흥적으로 제작한 각기 다른 손잡이를 조합한다. 이렇게 변화하는 컵을 통해 보는 이들에게도 생동감과 에너지가 전달되기를 바란다.
